Job Description:
An Aircraft Cleaners is responsible for cleaning the interior of the aircraft and completing forms associated with work assignments according to established procedures.
This is a Non-Exempt position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wipe down all surfaces of galleys and lavatories.
- Remove all refuse from containers, ashtrays, seat pockets, and floors.
- Wipe down all seat trays, remove debris from seats and arrange seat pocket items as required by the various airlines.
- Operate machinery used in the cleaning process: trucks, vacuum cleaners, generators, and PTO hydraulics.
- Handles wet garbage and gross volume stocking.
- Perform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc.
- Replenish aircraft catering and toiletry supplies as required by airlines.
- Fold and distribute blankets throughout aircraft.
- Drive and position hydraulic lift truck as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize time efficiently among a variety of duties.
- Availability to work flexible hours including holidays, days, nights and weekends.
